Olympics
I took part in the 2006 Crochet Olympics. My challenge was to complete this
shawl that I have designed in the 2 week time frame of the Olympics. It was a
fun way to challenge yourself to do more than your norm
The Shawl is done in size 10 thread with a strand of gold thread worked in
throughout the piece. I used a size 5/1.9 mm. hook. It has a beaded edging using
size 8 beads that have a 14kt gold lining. It measures 85 inches across and 30
inches deep.
I finished on day 14 of the Olympics earning me my Gold Button
